Nolasco, Peter "Papa Pete" J., 83, Retired salesman and Foster Grandparent for the Wichita Public Schools died Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Preceded in death by grandson Jason W. Patterson. Survived by his son, Peter M. Nolasco of Wichita, KS, daughter Stephanie L. Patterson (John) of Wichita, KS, daughter Jennifer T. Thomas (David) of Wichita, KS, brother, Raymond Nolasco (Joan) of LaSalle, Illinois, Grandchildren April Gohring , Taylor Ronen and great grandchildren Tyler and Kaylee Crighton, Nicolette and Gavin Patterson. Papa Pete had a great love for God, family and sports, following the Friends University teams with a passion. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at the Lords Diner, Wichita, Kansas.
