PAULINE M. JUNE, 74, of Rose Hill, Kansas, passed away Wednesday evening, February 13, 2008 at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover, Kansas.

Born on November 3, 1933 in rural Peck, Kansas, she was the daughter of Paul and Eva Mae (Brown) Posey. She received her early education in rural Peck and later graduated from Mulvane High School in 1951.

She was united in marriage on August 8, 1953 to Charles R. June at the First United Methodist Church in Udall. The couple made their first home in Wichita and later Derby, Haysville, Udall and Rose Hill. Pauline was a fulltime homemaker and loved attending toy shows. She had a vast toy dog collection and also enjoyed working puzzles.

Pauline was a member of the Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Derby. She was also a member of the 51 Club.

Her sons: Larry D. June and wife Kathy of Derby, KS; and Ronald P. June of Wichita, KS;
Her daughters: Linda Phillips and husband Ken of Jacksonville, FL; and Rhonda K. Simmons and husband Brian of Rose Hill, KS;
Her brothers: Leroy Posey and Jerry Posey both of Wichita, KS;
Her sister: Betty Miller of Haysville, KS;
Her grandchildren: Joanna, Erika, Devin, Tranesa, Dustin, Cody, Sarah, Derek, Samantha and Dylan; and
Her great-grandchildren: Faith and Carson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Caster.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Derby. Interment will follow at the Udall Cemetery. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service from 1:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, February 17, 2008. The family will greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., that afternoon.

A memorial has been established in Pauline's name for the Woodlawn United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
