PAULA BETH FULTZ passed away Monday morning, November 7, 2011 at William Newton Hospital after a long courageous battle with diabetes and emphasema.
She was born in Wichita on March 12, 1956 and grew up in Derby, Kansas. She attended Abilene Christian University, Oklahoma Christian University and Fort Hays State College.
Paula resided in Winfield for the past 31 years, where she was employed by Focus and ResCare HomeCare, previously Southwind Residential Services. She worked with mentally and physically challenged adults. This was her life's passion.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Norma and John Fultz.
She is survived by:
Her sister: Melinda Fultz of Wichita;
Her step-mother: Zoe Fultz of Derby;
Her step-brother: Bruce Butterfield of Derby;
Her step-sister: Deann Butterfield of Heartland, Wisconsin;
Her aunt: Paula Varner of Wichita; and
Her God son: Erin Allen Marque of Winfield.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. The family will greet friends following the service.
Memorials have been established in Paula's name for the Carpenter Place in Wichita and for ResCare HomeCare in Winfield. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
