Paul B. Reynolds, 68, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Wednesday morning, December 15, 2021, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
Born September 24, 1953, in Wellington, Kansas, he was the son of Lawrence F. and Clara V. (Skinner) Reynolds. He was raised and received his education in Wellington, graduating from Wellington High School in 1971. He then attended Emporia State University for one year, and later obtained an associate's degree from Cowley County Community College.
Paul was united in marriage to Tommie C. Cochran on December 30, 1977. The couple made their home in Winfield where Paul worked at Dillons for many years. He later began his career as an aircraft mechanic at General Electric where he remained until retiring in 2016. Tommie preceded him in death on August 30, 2002. Paul enjoyed cooking, listening to music, gardening, and doing yard work.
His family includes his daughter Kylee R. Hodges of Wichita; his son Tyson P. Reynolds of Winfield; his sisters, Betty S. Anderson of Overland Park; Margaret L. Hurst of Arlington, TX; his brother Kenneth R. Reynolds and wife, Susan of Lee Summit, MO; his brother-in-law Steve E. Cochran and wife, Brenda of Winfield; his grandchildren, Claude J. Hodges, Jr., Daryus J. Reynolds, Kaiden H. Jacobs, Zhayla R. Reynolds, Jeslyn J. Swanson, Amaiyah J. Reynolds; his nephews, Brandon Hurst and Rodrick Hurst; his niece Keko V. Broekman; and his companion of 16 years Janice E. Fulcher of Arkansas City.
In addition to his parents and wife, Paul was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert L. Reynolds and Richard L. Reynolds.
Graveside funeral services under the direction of Miles Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 2:00 P.M., at Highland Cemetery in Winfield.
A memorial has been established in Paul's name for the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
