Paul Arthur Reams, 81, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday evening, August 8, 2019 at William Newton Hospital.

Born May 31, 1938 in Exeter, Missouri, he was the son of Arthur and Ruby (Haddock) Reams. He was raised and received his education in Exeter, graduating from Exeter High School. Paul enlisted in the United States Navy in 1957. While in the Navy, he received his education in Electronics Technology. He proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1961.

He was united in marriage to Treva Harris on August 17, 1958 in Wichita. The couple made their home in Peck, Kansas until moving to Winfield in 1981. Paul worked at Honeywell Aerospace in Wichita for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing and watching television, especially racing.

His family includes his wife Treva Reams of Winfield; his son Alvin "Gene" Reams and wife, Sheila of Winfield; his grandchildren, Calvin Reams and wife, Christy of Winfield; Kyle Reams and wife, Alicia of Derby; Cassy Kent and husband, Jesse of Mulvane; and his eight great grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will hold private memorial services at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
