Paul M. Lutes, 63, of Atlanta, Kansas, passed away Wednesday evening, January 25, 2017 at his home.
Born May 24, 1953 in Jackson, Kentucky, he was the son of Paul and Martha (Witt) Lutes. He was raised and received his education in Kentucky, graduating in 1971 from Oakdale Christian High School in Oakdale, Kentucky. He remained in Kentucky until 1979 when he moved to Wichita, Kansas. While in Wichita, Paul worked as a mechanic for Sears and later as a brick layer. In 1987, he went to work as a sheet metal assembler for Boeing Aircraft until 1999 when he went to work for Raytheon. In 2010, he started working for C&B Liquor in Winfield, Kansas, until his retirement in 2013.

His brothers: Terry Lutes of Virginia; Greg Lutes of Kansas; Jeff Lutes of Jackson, KY;
His sister: Sheila Bellomy of Nicholasville, KY; and
His grandchildren: Jayden, Jazmyn, Stormie and Braxton.
Paul was preceded in death by his father.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
