Patsy A. Martin, 85, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday morning, February 11, 2017 at Winfield Senior Living Community.

Born December 17, 1931 in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of Alexis and Christina "Olive" Jones. She was raised and received her education in south central Kansas graduating from Winfield High School in 1949.

Patsy was united in marriage to Allen V. Martin on December 24, 1949 at the First United Methodist Church in Winfield. The couple made their home in Winfield, where Patsy was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, working crossword puzzles, going dancing, and taking motorcycle trips with her husband Allen. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Her family includes:
Her husband of 67 years: Allen V. Martin Sr. of Winfield;
Her son: Allen V. Martin Jr. and wife, Kathy of Winfield;
Her daughters: Gloria Stoddard and husband, Gilbert of Winfield; Teresa Wylie and husband, Rick of Derby; Linda Miller and husband, Dean of Leroy; and
Her 18 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her four brothers, Lester, Gerald, Larry and Johnny, and two sons Anvil and Alvin.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Milton Cemetery in Milton, Kansas. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, February 15, 2017 from 4 to 8. The family will greet visitors from 4 to 6 that evening.

A memorial has been established in Patsy's name for the American Lung Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
