Patricia L. Lever, 92, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Wednesday evening, May 6, 2026, at Villa Maria in Mulvane.
Born February 7, 1934, in Neodesha, Kansas, she was the daughter of Curtis and Beatrice (Mahaffey) Vantrease. She was raised and received her education in Neodesha.
She was united in marriage to Lester Gene Lever on October 10, 1949, in Arkansas. The couple made their first home in Neodesha and moved around with Lester’s work until settling in Wichita in 1956. Patricia worked at Fruhauf Uniforms as a seamstress for many years. But her favorite and primary job was being a homemaker, which she excelled at every aspect of. Once the couple retired, they moved to Udall. Lester preceded her in death on February 9, 2014.
Patricia was a member of the Udall Nazarene Church. She loved to sew, crochet, and tatt. She was an avid reader, especially things of the health subject. She loved animals of all kinds and had intense care skills for them.
Her family includes her children, Larry Lever and wife, Tammie of Neodesha; Thomas Lever of Udall; Alesha Haaga of Udall; Reverend Sam Lever and wife, Maxa of Udall; her brother Glen; her sisters, Gayle and Betty Jean; numerous grandchildren; and an over abundance of great and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by a son Gary Lever, a grandchild Laura Ann Lever, two great grandchildren, sisters, Bernita and Winnie Jo and two infant siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 15, 2026, at Udall Nazarene Church. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita. A visitation is scheduled at Miles Funeral Service on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. The family will greet visitors from 4 to 6 that evening.
A memorial has been established in Patricia’s name at the Udall Nazarene Church for a Mission Project in Papua New Guinea. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
