Patricia G. Davis, 76, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at her home.

Born October 30, 1942 in Winfield, Kansas, she was the daughter of Emery "Bud" and Lucinda "Luci" (Eudaly) Holman. She was raised and received her education in Winfield and Cedar Vale, graduating from Cedar Vale in 1960.

Pat was united in marriage to Jim Davis on April 4, 1975 in Winfield. The couple made their home in Winfield, where Pat worked as a bookkeeper for Gott Manufacturing. In addition to working at Gott, she worked part-time at H&R Block. She later owned and operated a dog grooming business out of her home, before working as a resident manager of Walnut Towers and Windsor Towers.

She was a very active volunteer at the Cowley County Humane Society, donating her time and fostering many animals. She was also a member of the Hackney Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society. In addition to her love for animals, Pat enjoyed reading, boating, attending family gatherings, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her family includes her husband Jim of Winfield; her daughter Kelly Vignery and husband, Rick of Warrensburg, MO; her step-sons, Stacey Hagen and wife, Karen of Woodlands, TX; Jim Warren of Bridgeport, TX; her sister Sheri Puchley and husband, Milan of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Eric "Tristan" Chalmers and wife, LaShaina of Arkansas City; Jarred Chalmers of Winfield; Tiffany Duong and husband, My of Wiley, TX; Tyson Chalmers of Denver, CO; Mina Rogers and husband, Jason of Wichita; Bry Warren of Groton, CT; Emily McDonald and husband, Jansen of Waxahachie, TX; and her great grandchildren, Tyesa, Aliyah, Ayonna, TJ, Reiley, Tavian, Evanni, Ashley, Ava, Trooper, and Ledger.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a brother Roger Holman, and an infant daughter, Kimberly.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4 to 8. The family will greet visitors during this time.

A memorial has been established in Pat's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
