Patricia L. Bailey, 63, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Tuesday morning, April 13, 2010 at her home.

Born June 19, 1946 in Winfield, she was the daughter of Barbara Orand. She was raised and received her education in the Winfield area.

Patricia was united in marriage to Gary "Butch" Bailey at Tisdale United Methodist Church, in Tisdale on July 8, 1967. The couple made their home in the Winfield area where she was a homemaker and helped to raise the couples three children. She later went to work at William Newton Hospital as an aide and then worked at several area nursing homes.

She enjoyed camping and cooking for her children and grandchildren.

Her grandchildren: Josh Colston; Jeremy Colston; Levi Colston; Gary Colston; Brice Bailey; Zach Bailey; Andrew Bailey; Isaac Bailey; Emily Bailey; Megan Bailey; and
Her 5 great grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, Patricia was preceded in death by, her brother Russell Shouse.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Tisdale Cemetery in Tisdale.

A Memorial has been established in Patricia's name for Hospice Care of Kansas. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
