Pary O. Wilson, 67, of Arkansas City, Kansas, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 30, 2013 at the South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center in Arkansas City.
Born January 14, 1946 in Magnolia, Mississippi, he was the son of Woodrow and Rosie Mae (Morgan) Wilson. At age 8 he was living in Parsons, Kansas where he finished the 5th grade. Following this he lived in Topeka, Larned, and Hartley, where he worked in many different restaurants.
In 1978 he moved to Arkansas City, where he lived until his death. He was a caring person, always willing to help others. Until his health failed, he was actively involved in the Sheltered Workshop at Twin Rivers Developmental Services.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 10:00 A.M., at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening, February 4, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M.
A memorial has been established in Pary's name for the Twin Rivers Developmental Services. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
