NORMA FAY MORRIS, 74, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday morning, January 13, 2013 at Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita.
Born November 14, 1938 in Rock, Kansas, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Minnie (Pickering) Johnson. She was raised and received her education in Winfield.
Norma married the love of her life, Lloyd W. Morris on August 8, 1954 in Winfield. The couple made their home in Winfield. Mrs. Morris began working at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center in 1963. She worked as and LMHT 1 for 26 years, retiring due to disability in 1989.
Norma was a member of the Church of Christ in Winfield. She enjoyed being involved in the Red Hat Ladies, as well as crocheting, craft work, camping, going out on the pontoon boat and going to Branson. She also enjoyed country music by George Strait and Alan Jackson. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her daughters: Debbie Lamb and husband, Michael of Branson, MO; Janet Bogle of Winfield; and Donna Banta and husband, Robert B. of Arkansas City;

Her grandchildren: Becky, Jeremy, Kelli, Tracy, Steven, Shane, Natasha, Tyson, Cameron, Joshua, Isaac, Sarah, Nicole, Christopher, Christina and Kathleen; and
Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her sons, Mark and David Morris, her sons-in-law, Larry Bogle and Jerry Price, her brother, Alvin Johnson, her sister, Donna Fortier, and her grandson, Xavier Hill.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 16 from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors from 4 to 6 that evening.
A memorial has been established in Norma's name for the Church of Christ. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
