Nellie Irene Myers' Obituary
Nellie Irene Myers, 93, of Winfield, Kansas passed away Wednesday morning, January 2, 2013 in her home.
Nellie was born December 11, 1919, in Galena, Kansas to Charles Christopher and Jessie (Rupert) Myers. She received her bachelor degree from Pittsburg State University. She was a retired teacher and had taught at Galena and Hesston.
Her family includes:
Her sisters: Mary Myers of Winfield; Dorothy Fruits and husband, Jack of Winfield;
Her sister-in-law: Virginia Myers of North Platte, NE; and
Her several nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Max Myers.
No service are scheduled. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
