Neil Ivan Britt, 62, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at his farm in Atlanta.

Born March 21, 1959, in Atlanta, Kansas, he was the son of Ivan and Loretta (Bloom) Britt. He was raised in Atlanta and received his education in Leon, graduating from Bluestem High School in 1977.

Neil farmed with his father and raised cattle on his own land. He was united in marriage to Theresa "Terry" Turcotte on August 3, 2002, at the Udall Nazarene Church. The couple made their first home in Atlanta and later moved to Udall. Neil continued running his farm in Atlanta his entire life. He was a member of Udall Nazarene Church.

His family includes his wife, Terry of Udall; his mother, Loretta Britt of Atlanta; his siblings, John Britt and wife, Jeannie of Atlanta; Doris Powers and husband, Bill of Douglass; Anthony Britt and wife, Robin of Leon; Kendra Walls of Mulvane; Eric Britt of Atlanta; his step-children, Jennifer Franz and husband, David of Udall; Joseph Cybulski and wife, Christine of Haysville; Kimberly Peay and husband, Scott of Wichita; his step-grandchildren, Breanna, Dakota, Levi, Cameron, Ryder, Taylor, Tali, Tori, and Jude; his step-great-grandchildren, Caiden and Layla; numerous nieces and nephews; and his Goddaughter Desiree Wilson.

In addition to his father, Neil was preceded in death by a brother Alvin Britt and a niece Debra Cooke.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 28, 2022, at Udall Nazarene Church under the direction of Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Udall Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to help defray funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
