Obituary

Natalea Jane Archer, 49, of Arkansas City, Kansas, passed away Wednesday evening, January 22, 2014 at Medicalodges in Arkansas City.

Born April 9, 1964 in Winfield, Kansas, she was the daughter of Jack Albert and Nina Mae (Duncan) Archer. She was raised and received her education in Arkansas City. After high school, she attended Cowley County Community College and received her degree in cosmetology.

Natalea was united in marriage to Richard Lambert in December of 1981. The couple made their first home in Ark City where she began working as a hairdresser. They later moved to Galveston, Texas where she became the Promotions Manager for the Galveston Islanders semi professional football team. They later returned to Ark City and she began working as a Secretary for the Iverson's Law Office. The couple later divorced.

In 1991 Natalea returned to Galveston and began working as the General Manager of the Galveston Islanders. There she met Anthony Saracco and in March of 1992 the couple were married. At the end of the football season they moved to Ark City and added their son Anthony Saracco Jr. The couple later divorced. Natalea remained in Ark City and worked as a Secretary for K Square.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and working on arts and crafts. One of her happiest moments was when she became a grandmother.

Her family includes:
Her son: Anthony Saracco, Jr. and wife, Mika of Winfield;
Her brother: Steve Archer and wife, Pam of Arkansas City;
Her sister: Cindy Beeson and husband, Dan of Arkansas City;
Her grandchildren: Jasa and Anthony III, both of Winfield; and
Her numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Natalea was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Jack Archer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Rose Valley Cemetery east of Winfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors from 5 to 6 that evening.

A memorial has been established in Natalea's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
