Molly Elaine Weathers, 42, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Tuesday evening, December 22, 2020 at William Newton Hospital.
Born December 14, 1978 in Winfield, she was the daughter of Doug and Marilyn (Spengler) Miller. She was raised and received her education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1997. Molly worked as a clerk at Graves Drug Store as well as waitressed for area restaurants.
She was united in marriage to Tyson Weathers on December 5, 1998. The couple had two children, Caleb and Abby.
Molly was a member of Tisdale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed listening to music, being outdoors, waitressing and bartending, and watching football, especially the Chiefs. She loved to read and had a green thumb. She was known to name her plants. Molly especially loved spending time with her kids and enjoyed attending their school functions and sporting events.
Her family includes her children, Caleb Weathers of Winfield; Abby Weathers of Winfield; her husband, Tyson Weathers of Winfield; her parents, Doug and Marilyn Miller of Winfield; her sisters, Kristin Priest and husband, Brad of Winfield; Sarah Owens and husband, Sladden of Winfield; her maternal grandmother Marquita Spengler of Winfield; her parents-in-law, Rodger and Linda Weathers of Winfield; her sister-in-law Misty Weathers of Winfield; her brother-in-law Taton Weathers and wife, Sonya of Winfield; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Molly was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Philip and Alene Miller and her maternal grandfather Gib Spengler.
The family will hold private memorial services at a later date.
A memorial has been established in Molly's name for Tisdale United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service.
