Michael William Martin, 46, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Wesley Medical Center.

Born January 22, 1975 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he was the son of Carol Ellsworth and Alma Hershel (Boyd) Martin. He was raised and received his education in Colorado Springs as well as Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Michael joined boy scouts at an early age and reached the rank of Eagle Scout at age 16. He worked as a Mechanical Lathe operator. He loved all animals, especially Pit Bulls. Anyone that knew him, knows that he had a weakness for tattoos.

His family includes his son Michael Martin and wife, Cherokee of Claremore, OK; his sisters, Elain Bishop and husband, George of Pawnee, OK; Carol Martin of Tulsa, OK; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation is under the direction of Miles Funeral Service. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
