Melvin Lee Weaver, 68, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, at his home.

Born October 28, 1953, in Arkansas City, Kansas, he was the son of Claude H. and Mildred M. (Miller) Weaver. He was raised and received his education in Arkansas City, graduating from Ark City High School. Following school Melvin worked various jobs before beginning his career at Boeing Aircraft Company. He worked in sheet metal at Boeing and retired after several years. Melvin enjoyed fishing and was a collector of all things.

His family includes his siblings, JoAnn Miller of Phoenix, AZ; John (Diana) Weaver of Newkirk, OK; Marsha Earl of Kansas City; his sister-in-law Jody Weaver of Winfield; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Melvin was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Kirk and a brother Doug Weaver.

The family will hold private memorial services at a later date.
