MARY O. (NORTHCUTT) HYDEN, 91, of Winfield, passed away September 15, 2008, at Good Samaritan Village.
Mary was born October 21, 1916 to Lennie Krisle and Eliza (Kinison) Krisle in Meade, Kansas. She graduated from Meade High School and moved to Wichita, KS to attend Wichita Business College. There, she met her husband, Norvell Northcutt and was married October 19, 1939. The couple resided in Wichita until Mr. Northcutt's death on September 19, 1972.
Mary married Paul Hyden on October 9, 1976. After she retired from Wichita Federal Savings and Loan, where she had been a loan officer, they moved to Sun City, AZ.
She was an active member of Hillside Christian Church in Wichita, KS and Sun City Christian Church in Sun City, AZ. Mary enjoyed traveling, fishing, and riding in the Sun City Pedal Pusher's Club. She moved to Winfield in 2000 to live near her daughter and family after Paul's death on October 4, 1990.

Her son: Douglas Northcutt and wife, Ann of Bremerton, WA;
Her sisters: Katherine Phillips of Jefferson City, MO; and Dorothy Messmer of Oak Grove, MO;
Her grandsons: Brian Dutton and wife, Kimberly of Winfield; and Brady Dutton and wife, Kayla of Winfield; and
Her four great grandchildren: Kyndal Dutton, Brianna Dutton, Marshall Dutton and Laura Dutton.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, William Krisle of San Diego, CA, and a sister Maurine Page of Wichita, KS.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008, at 1:30 P.M. at Resthaven Garden's of Memory in Wichita. A public visitation will be held at Miles Funeral Service on Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M.
