Marjorie May Stoffel, 89, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday morning, August 21, 2025, at her home.

Born May 11, 1936, in Idana, Kansas, she was the daughter of Frank and Stella (Thorman) Stoffel.  Marjorie was raised on the family farm in Clay County until moving to the State Hospital and Training Center in Winfield as a young girl.  She remained at the State Hospital until moving to a Mosaic care home and most recently was living in a Capper Foundation home.

Marjorie enjoyed watching western movies, especially Gunsmoke.  She also liked being outdoors and joking with her favorite staff members.

She leaves behind her roommates and caregivers at Capper Foundation.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Highland Cemetery at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 29, 2025, under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.
