MARION EDWARD "MIKE" JUNE, Jr., 58, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Tuesday evening, June 26, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Born September 6, 1953 in Arkansas City, Kansas, he was the son of Marion Edward, Sr. and Dorothy Chambell. He was raised and received his education in Arkansas City. Mike worked for several years in shipping and receiving at Gordon Piatt. He worked in the maintenance department at Winfield High School from 2002 to 2011 when his health would no longer allow it.

He was united in marriage to Nada Johnson on May 16, 1981 in Arkansas City. To this union, three children were born. The couple later divorced.

He married Bobbie Carr on November 19, 2007. The couple made their home in Winfield. Mike loved to fish and enjoyed Nascar.

His daughters: Belinda Wesbrook and husband Darrin of Marland, Oklahoma; Renee June of Winfield; and Tiffany Dunn and husband, Jared of Winfield;
His step-daughter: Theresa Saguto and husband, Bill of Udall;
His brother: Harvey June of Arkansas City;
His sisters: Mary Doolittle of Winfield; and Edna Graham of Winfield;
His grandchildren: Gunnar Goplen, Madisan Wesbrook, Laydon Wesbrook, Hanna Dunn, Alivia Dunn, Wyatt June, and Rylee June; and
His step grandchildren: Chat Wilson, Holly Saguto, Jacob Saguto, and Montana Saguto.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has been effected. A visitation will be held at Miles Funeral Service on Monday evening, July 2, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors during this time. A private Native American Service will be held at a later date.

Memorials have been established in Mike's name for the American Diabetes Association, American Lung Association and for Camp Horizon's kid's fishing activities. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
