Obituary

Marilyn R. Meadows, 71, of Winfield, Kansas passed away Tuesday evening, August 9, 2016 at Winfield Senior Living Community.

Born June 26, 1945 in Winfield, Kansas, she was the daughter of James F. and Jessie (Booth) Callison. She was raised and received her education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1963.

Marilyn was a lifetime member of the Winfield community, working in several area restaurants, including A&W and spent over 25 years at the Burger Station. She was united in marriage to Leo Meadows on January 5, 1992 in Winfield. She enjoyed quilting and taking care of her family.

Her daughters: Mendy Wilson of Winfield; Renee Andes of Winfield;
Her brother: James A. Callison and wife, Marian of Yerington, NV;
Her sister: Verda E. Jones of Winfield;
Her grandchildren: Jake Andes, Ashley Andes, Michael Crowley, Amber Crowley, Cooper Wassall; and
Her great grandchildren: Jace Crowley, Kenzlie Carroll, James Crowley, Trenton Crowley, Emmitt Crowley, Rachel Keifer, Thomas Liam Barber, and one on the way.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by a grandson, James Andes.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Cambridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 6 P.M. The family will greet visitors from 2 to 3 that afternoon.

A memorial has been established in Marilyn's name for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
