Marilyn Jane Fields, 64, of Belle Plaine, Kansas, passed away Saturday evening, September 13, 2014, at her home in Belle Plaine.
Born January 13, 1950 in Winfield, Kansas, she was the daughter of Frank and Opal (Taylor) McConaghy. She was raised and received her education in Winfield.
Marilyn was united in marriage to Kenneth G. Fields on April 10, 1989, Winfield, Kansas. The couple lived in Winfield throughout their married life. Mr. Fields preceded her in death on May 9, 1994.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winfield, the Women's Club of Belle Plaine, and the G Bikers of Belle Plaine. She enjoyed attending the Udall Church of the Nazarene and visiting with friends and family on the telephone.

Her brothers: Dale McConaghy of Arkansas City; Noel McConaghy and wife, Jim Ann of Belle Plaine;
Her niece: Connie Smith and husband, Chris of Ellis; and
Her many cousins.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Udall Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Winfield. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangement.
Memorials have been established in Mrs. Fields name for the First Baptist Church in Winfield and for the Udall Church of the Nazarene. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
