Margaret Ruth "Peggy" Eudaly, 94, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away, Tuesday March 16, 2021 at William Newton Hospital.

Born January 5, 1927 in Taunton, Somerset, England, she was the daughter of William and Agnes (Riste) Saffin. She was raised and received her education in England.

Peggy met Roy E. Eudaly while he was serving in the United States Army. The couple were united in marriage on October 24, 1945 in Cotsworth, England. Following WWII, Peggy joined Roy in Winfield, Kansas on July 3, 1946. Peggy began working at Binney & Smith in 1953 until the couple had children and then returned to Binney & Smith in 1963. She remained at the Crayola factory for over 20 years, retiring in 1986. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, traveling with family, and taking trips back to England to see family. Roy preceded Peggy in death on July 27, 2008.

Her family includes her daughters, Jill Randall and husband, Bud of Winfield; Kathy Wilson of Winfield; her grandchildren, Allen Bodkins and companion Bri Knock, Scott and Melissa Bodkins, Jason and Jennifer Randall, and Jenny and Lendall Moore; her great grandchildren, Zach and Keylee Bodkins, Alex and Drew Randall, and Lane Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy was preceded in death by a daughter Robin Eudaly, two brothers, Eric and Bill Saffin, and a sister Freda Miles.

Graveside memorial services will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Union-Graham Cemetery in Winfield. A visitation will be held at Miles Funeral Service on Sunday afternoon, March 21, 2021 from 2 to 4 P.M. The family will greet friends during this time.

A memorial has been established in Peggy's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
