Margaret Ann "Peggy" Lynch, 91, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday afternoon, January 20, 2017 at Winfield Senior Living.

Born July 22, 1925 in Butler County, she was the daughter of Oscar and Leona (Messenger) Hall. She was raised and received her early education in Atlanta, and graduated from Atlanta High School in 1944. Peggy was united in marriage to Scott Lynch on August 31, 1947. The couple made their home in Winfield. Peggy worked for the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center as a Med Aide and retired in 1990. Mr. Lynch preceded her in death on February 13, 1982.

Peggy was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo and cards. She played cards even up to her final days. She loved life and especially loved to be with her family and friends.

Her son: Terry Lynch and wife, Debbie of Winfield;
Her grandchildren: Phillip Lynch and wife, Vickie of Winfield; James Randolph Winfield; April Shilling and husband, Brian of Wichita; Crystal Randolph of Wichita;
Her great grandchildren: Cedrick, Cierra, Chloe, Sam, Eli, Zachary, Anthony, Nicholas, and Noah;
Her sister: Bernadine Miller of Hutchinson;
Her sister-in-law: Margaret Hushkas of Aurora, CO; and
3 nephews and 1 niece.

In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy was preceded in death by a son, Randolph Scott Lynch and three brothers, Warren, Curtis and Clem.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at the Atlanta Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 that evening.

A memorial has been established in Peggy's name for Kindred Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
