Marcus Allen Sloan, 26, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at William Newton Hospital.

Born March 19, 1993 in Winfield, he was the son of Dan Sloan and Cheri (Ellingson) Speer. Marcus was loved by many. His passion for his family and friends, his music, and life will be missed. There was nobody who could light up the room the way he did with his laughter and smile. #mishiforever.

Marcus is survived by his father, Dan Sloan; his mother Cheri Speer and stepfather jimmy Mills; his grandparents, Craig and Carolyn Ellingson, Wanda Lydick, Walt Sloan; his siblings, Erik Sloan, Ethan Sloan, Taylor Sloan, Jonathan Gilbreath; his fiancé Dominique Sloan Valentine and her daughter Luna.

The family will hold a memorial service at the American Legion. Friends may contact Jimmy Mills or Cheri Speer for information.
