Mable D Hedges' Obituary
Mable D. Hedges, 89, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday morning, March 16, 2008, at Cumbernauld Village.
Born on June 20, 1918, in Winfield, Kansas, she was the daughter of Harvey and Myrtle (Haines) Carlton. She was raised and educated in the Winfield area.
Mable was united in marriage to Homer J. Hedges and the couple continued to make their residence in the Winfield area. In 1970 she went to work for William Newton Hospital in the dietary department.
Her family includes:
Her sisters: Wanda Abilgaard of Winfield and Florence Waldroupe of Nebraska; and
many nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
A private graveside service will be held for the family. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

A Memorial has been established in Mable's name for Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
