LUCILLE P. HULL, 88, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday evening, March 16, 2008, at Winfield Rest Haven.

Born on November 29, 1919, in Cedar Vale, Kansas, she was the daughter of James Edward and Bertha (Metheny) Cook. She was raised and educated in the Cedar Vale area.

She worked for Country Club of America Resort in the security department. She retired in 1985 after 20 years. She was united in marriage on August 26, 1937 to Roy E. Hull in Sedan, Kansas. Mr. Hull preceded her in death on December 19, 1959. On April 7, 1964, she was united in marriage to Earl L. Phillips in Dacus, Texas. Mr. Phillips preceded her in death on January 11, 1985.

Lucille was a member of the Rebbecca Lodge in Grenola, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Grenola Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Her family includes:
Her sons: William E. Hull and wife, Michelle; Robert W. Hull and wife Marilyn and Michael L. Hull all of Winfield;
Her daughter: Barbara K. O'Hair-Simpson and husband, Max Simpson of Wichita;
Her brother: Kenneth Cook of Independence; and
Her 13 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and two husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph V., Everett L., Fred H., Ocie E., John L., and Donald R. Cook, a daughter, Reta Faye Hull and a great-great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2008, at 1:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola.
