Lloyd Norman Cox, 76, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Kansas Veterans Home.

Born January 26, 1948, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Cleo and Ruby Cox.  He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother.  Lloyd was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Betty Lou Cox and family, Johnny of Texas; Sheri of Virginia; Peggy of Nebraska; Angela of Nebraska; and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Honoring Lloyd's request, there will be no services.  Cremation will be under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.

A memorial has been established in Lloyd's name for the Cowley County Humane Society.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
