LIZA "NINA" DAIGLE, 69, of Winfield, Kansas passed away at her home Friday evening, June 17, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones.
Born June 11, 1942 in Crane Creek, Missouri, she was the daughter of Charlie and Florence (Seybert) Mahurin. She was raised and received her education in Coffeyville, Kansas.
Nina was united in marriage to Joseph R. Daigle on October 18, 1991 in Oxford, Kansas. The couple made their first home in Oxford. Nina and her husband, Joe, operated for R/E Yard Services. Nina was a tanker truck driver and retired in 2010.
She loved sewing and collecting John Wayne and Elvis Presley memorabilia and old coins. She also enjoyed fishing, going to yard sales, and working with carpentry tools.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Florence Mahurin, two sons, Robert Allen Roskydoll and Thomas Lee Cook, as well as 9 brothers and sisters, Johnny Mahurin, Junior Mahurin, Burl Mahurin, Lorine Mahurin, Jerry D. Mahurin, Marceen Mucklow, Ellen Bennett, Gertrude Moody and Clifford Mahurin.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Miles Funeral Service on Wednesday evening from 4 to 8 P.M.
Memorials have been established in Nina's name for Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and for the Cancer Center of Winfield. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
