Linda D. Marks' Obituary
LINDA D. MARKS, 38, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday morning, September 19, 2008 at Via Christi/St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
Born on April 13, 1970 in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of William and Diane Marks.
Linda resided at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center until March of 1997 when she moved to Southwind Community Alternatives, now Southwind Rescare.
Linda also known as Linda Bug "Buggy" was known for her big smiles, socializing with her friends and racing around in her wheelchair. She was an avid Shania Twain fan.
She will be missed greatly by her family and friends at Southwind Rescare. Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Marks on May 13, 1999.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M., Monday, September 22, 2008. Interment will follow at a later date.
