Linda Arlene Harter, 73, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday morning, May 31, 2020 at her home.

Born December 18, 1946 in Udall, Kansas, she was the daughter of Wesley Robert "John" and Etta Louise (Black) Cole. She was raised and received her education in Udall. After school, Linda was married and traveled the world as a military wife. She made her career as a dental assistant until retiring and returning to Winfield. She enjoyed dancing, going to car shows, traveling, going on cruises, and especially enjoyed spending time with her friends.

Her family includes her mother Etta Louise Cole of Udall; her children, Steven W. Kennedy and wife, Jill of Jacksonville, FL; Michael P. Kennedy of Winfield; Rodney A. Kennedy and wife, Barbara of Round Rock, TX; Debora Delaney and husband, David Schnitzer of Bridgewater, NJ; her grandchildren, Brittany Kennedy, Chad Kennedy, Melissa Kennedy, Adam Schnitzer, Lauren Schnitzer; and her great grandchildren, Aedyn, Murphy, and Matthew Davenport.

Linda was preceded in death by her father and her brother, John Lee Cole.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 3:30 P.M. at Udall Cemetery in Udall, Kansas. The graveside service will be available to be viewed live on the Miles Funeral Service Facebook page.  A visitation will be held at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield from 1 to 3 P.M. that day. The family will greet visitors during this time.
