LINDA SUE CAPPS, 76, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday morning, August 16, 2015 at William Newton Hospital.
Born on July 26, 1939 in Ellinwood, Kansas, she was the daughter of Neil and Marie (Daniels) Zimmerman. She received her education in Ellinwood and later Braman, Oklahoma. Linda received her surgical technician training at Wesley Medical Center where she became employed as a surgical technician. She was employed for the Coleman Company in the order packing department, retiring in 2002.
Linda was united in marriage to Harold Capps and to this union two daughters were born, Teressa and Betty. They later divorced.
She married Harold Edwards and he preceded her in death in 1983. Linda remarried Harold Capps and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Linda enjoyed spending time with family, crafts, Facebook and playing Farmville.

Her daughters; Teressa Patton and Kevin Fowler of Stafford, KS; Betty Enright and husband Daniel of Neosho Falls, KS;
Her brothers: Larry Zimmerman, Ronnie Zimmerman, Cecil Muxlow;
Her sisters: Neila Owen, Mary Smith, Carol Segraves and Marna Murphy;
Her 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren with one on the way.
In addition to her parents and both husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Garry and Jerry Zimmerman.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 21, 2015 at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, southeast of Atlanta.
A memorial has been established in Linda's name for the COPD Foundation. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
