Liam Key, 22 months, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at his home.

Born December 1, 2018 in Winfield, he was the son of Joseph and Nancy (McCorkle) Key. Liam was a free spirited persistent little man with a larger than life personality. He loved going on adventures with his family and playing with his big brother. He loved his swimming pool almost as much as he loved his robot dinosaur. His curiosity about things in pockets was unmatched including his grandmothers jacket zippers. He would play fetch with his puppy bb and had the energy to beat him to the ball. When he wasn't occupied with those he would sing and dance just to get a smile. He loved attention and would always show with affection. Although he was taken from us entirely too early he will live on in our hearts and memories forever. He will be loved and missed more than most can fathom.

His family includes his parents, Joseph and Nancy Key of Winfield; his brother Lincoln Key of Winfield; his maternal grandmother Donna McCorkle of Winfield; his paternal great grandparents, Don and Linda Key of Holdenville, OK; his paternal grandfather Van Key and wife, Krystal of New Peru, OK; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Liam was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather N.E. McCorkle and his paternal grandparents, Laura and Jerry Rickman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Miles Funeral Service. A visitation is scheduled for Monday evening from 5 to 8 P.M.

A memorial has been established in Liam's name for Lincoln Key's education. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
