Larry Neil Zimmerman's Obituary
LARRY NEIL ZIMMERMAN, 72, of Newkirk, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday evening, September 10, 2015 at the Ponca City Health and Rehab in Ponca City.
Born on May 1, 1943 in Great Bend, Kansas, he was the son of Neil and Marie Veyonne (Daniel) Zimmerman. He received his education in Sterling, Kansas and later Bramen, Oklahoma.
Larry lived in Blackwell, Oklahoma before retiring in Newkirk. He had been employed at Gordon & Piatt, and USD #470. Larry also kept busy doing lawn care.
His family includes:
His brothers: Ronnie Zimmerman and Cecil Muxlow;
His sisters: Neila Owen and husband James; Mary Smith, Carol Segraves, and Marna Murphy and husband Bill;
His special niece, Marie Monroe, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Garry and Jerry; and his sister, Linda Capps.
Private funeral services are being planned.
A memorial has been established in Larry's name for the National Federation for the Blind. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
