Larry Replogle, 60, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Wednesday morning, October 1, 2014 at his home.
Born August 6, 1954 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, he was the son of Larry Charles and Juanita (Southard) Replogle. He was raised and received his education in Wichita, Kansas and attended military school in Kansas. He graduated from high school in Wichita.
In 1979 Larry was united in marriage to Lana Chase in Newkirk, Oklahoma. The couple made their first home in Udall where Larry went to work for Smith Sanitation. They later moved to Winfield and Larry worked for Binney and Smith. In 1982 the family moved to Russellville, Arkansas. Larry returned to Udall in 1984 after the couple divorced. While in Udall he began working as a painter, contracting with Boeing, as well as painting for many individuals and companies in the area.
He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He enjoyed watching Oklahoma University football games and playing in slot tournaments.

His sisters: Sharon Owens of Mulvane; Sandy Allen and husband Bob of Arkansas City; Serita Scifres and husband, Don of Warsaw, OH; Sue Adams and husband, Michael of Treasure Island, FL; and
His brother: William O. Nobles Jr., and wife, Larita of Russellville, AR.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by two brothers, Franklin G. Dowty and Danny Leon.
The family will hold a memorial service at the Mulvane American Legion at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 11, 2014. All friends are encouraged to wear their OU apparel.
A memorial has been established in Larry's name for his grandson's education. Contributions may be made through the Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
