Phakonekham, Lanoy, 61, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday evening, May 10, 2015 at her home.

Lanoy was born in Samneu, Laos on February 2, 1954 and grew up in Phontong, Vientiane. Lanoy was united in marriage to Roy Phakonekahm on July 17, 1977 and later immigrated to the United States where they resided and raised their three children in Winfield, KS. Lanoy was employed with Winfield School District 465 as a custodian for over 28 years. She was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church and the Lao Baptist Mission Church. She enjoyed going to church, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Her family includes:
Her daughters: Alison Phakonekham- Gonzalez and Jessica Phakonekham-Hart;
Her grandchildren: Anabel, Cooper, Xander, Xoey, Xuri and
Her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Phakonekham and her son, Jack Phakonekham.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 A.M. on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Central Baptist Church, 904 Wheat Road, Winfield, KS. Cremation will follow under the direction of Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. A luncheon will be held at Central Baptist Church immediately following services.

A Memorial has been established in Lanoy's name for Central Baptist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
