KHAMFONG INTHAVONGSA, 91, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Wednesday evening, March 26, 2014 at her home.

Born on December 1, 1922 in Vientiane, Laos, she was the daughter of Thit Tu Keohavong and Kham Vene. She was raised and received her education in Laos. She was united in marriage to Pong Inthavongsa in 1942 in Vientiane, Laos. Pong passed away in 1977.

She moved to Wamego, Kansas in 1980 and also lived in St. Louis, Missouri and Wichita, Kansas before moving to Winfield in 1985. She belonged to Wat Lao in Wichita, Kansas.

Her sons: Mike Inthavongsa and wife Kelly of Winfield, KS; Anthony Inthavongsa and wife Nokeo of Garden City, KS; Malay Inthavongsa and wife Samthavinh of Germany; Mala Inthavongsa of Germany; and Tommy Inthavongsa of St. Louis, MO;

Her daughters: Marie Nang Reinhold of Germany; Phouvanh Chanthapathya and husband Sy of Paris, France; Tawn Sidaravilay and husband Lamthong of Winfield, KS; Phetsamone Ratanavong and husband Xay of St. Louis, MO; and P.K. Collins of Winfield, KS;

Her 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and 2 great-grandchildren.

Buddhist services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 31, 2014 at Miles Funeral Service. Following the service she will be cremated in Wichita.
