Kham Phakonekham, 74, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at The University of Kansas Health Systems in Kansas City.

Kham was born on April 10, 1946 in Haunphan, Laos, the daughter of Sanphang and Yood Phetvixay. She was married to Vanhack Phakonekham on July 14, 1963.

Her family includes her husband Vanhack Phakonekham of Winfield; her children, Thongk of Wellington; Pane of Japan; Phan of Laos; Chan and Soi Vieng of Winfield; her 13 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Kham was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.

Buddhist funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
