Kevin D. Kollmorgen, 29, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away early Sunday morning, October 17, 2021, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Born December 2, 1991, in Wellington, Kansas, he was the son of Joshua Harris and Karen Kollmorgen. He was raised and received his education in South Haven, graduating from South Haven High School in 2010. After high school, Kevin worked for Two Rivers Coop in South Haven and Geuda Springs, Kansas.

In 2011, he moved to Winfield to be near the love of his life, Jessica Webb. The couple were united in marriage on July 5, 2019, in Arkansas City, Kansas. Kevin started Midwest Hides and later worked as a welder for Mertz Manufacturing in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was currently working as a general contractor.

As a young man, Kevin was a member of the First Christian Church in South Haven. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers, working on cars, woodworking, and taking his family fishing, trapping, and camping. He also enjoyed traveling, especially the family's trip to California where he got to see the ocean.

His family includes his wife Jessica Kollmorgen of Winfield; his children, Kayson, Carson, Kenleigh, and Hadleigh Kollmorgen; his parents, Karen Black and Joshua Harris of Wichita; his siblings, Trenton Harris, Ivy Harris, Anthony Harris and wife, Kira, JaeDyn Kollmorgen, TyEika Black, and Tre Black; his maternal grandmother Judy Kollmorgen of Wellington; and his paternal grandmother Jacquie Harris of South Haven.

Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Norman "Phil" Harris and his maternal grandfather Kenneth Kollmorgen.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. at Central Baptist Church. Interment services will be held at 2:00 P.M. that afternoon at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bluff City. A visitation is scheduled at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield on Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 that evening.

The family suggests memorials to the Kevin Kollmorgen Memorial Fund for his children. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
