Kevin Wayne Bodkins, 28, of Udall, Kansas passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 due to a motor vehicle accident.

Born September 4, 1986 in Winfield, Kansas, he was the son of Willard "Wayne" and Kathy G. (Kahrs) Bodkins. He was raised and received his education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 2005. After school he joined the United States Marine Corp and proudly served his country. While in the Marines he was stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California.

In 2009 he was honorably discharged from the Marine Corp and returned to Winfield where he met his wife Julie Love. The couple made their home in Udall and Kevin went to work as a Route Merchandiser for the Coca Cola Company.

He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Winfield. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He especially loved spending time playing with his daughters.

His sisters: Stephanie and Emily Bodkins both of Winfield;
His maternal grandfather: Neil Kahrs of Cookson, OK;
His paternal grandmother: Doris Bodkins of Winfield; and
His 8 nieces and nephews.

Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Donna Kahrs and his paternal grandfather, Willard Bodkins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield, on Monday evening, March 16, 2015 from 4 to 8. The family will greet visitors from 4 to 7 that evening.

A memorial has been established in Kevin's name to help support his daughters. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
