Kent Dean Lange, 55, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday morning, February 9, 2015 in Winfield.
Born May 28, 1959 in Washington, Kansas, he was the son of Merlin and Doris Ann (Shoup) Lange. He was raised and received his education in Washington, graduating from Washington High School in 1977.
He was united in marriage to Lynda Wiechman on October 27, 1979. The couple adopted two children, Serany and Jacob.
Kent worked for the City of Washington as a lineman. He installed cable for Cox Communication and worked in the welding shop at Galaxy Tool.
He was a member of the Winfield Masonic Lodge. Kent enjoyed fishing, hunting, model trains, mudding and tending to his fish aquariums.

His cousins: Bill and Margaret Jonte; Roberta and Wiley Alexander; Raymie and Cherri Jonte.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. The family will greet friends on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 3 P.M. at the funeral home.
A Memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church in Washington, Kansas on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Washington County Cemetery.
A Memorial has been established in Kent's name for his children's education fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
