Kennith L. McPherson, 71, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday evening, July 11, 2022, at the Kansas Veterans Home.

Born August 24, 1950, in Winfield, he was the son of Everett Leon and Verna Virginia "Jenny" (Marler) McPherson. He was raised and received his education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School. Kennith proudly served four years in the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge. He worked as a meat cutter and produce manager at Country Mart in Arkansas City for many years, retiring as produce manager. He enjoyed fishing and sports and loved to play music.

His family includes his son Greg McPherson and wife, Jenny of Arkansas City; his grandchildren, Michael, Zach, and Eli; and his great grandchild Tayden.

In addition to his parents, Kennith was preceded in death by his brother Rusty McPherson.

The family will hold memorial services at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.

A memorial has been established in Kennith's name for Harry Hynes Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
