Kenneth "Kenny" Law, 77, of Winfield, Kansas passed away Tuesday evening, May 14, 2013 at his home.
Born February 12, 1936 in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Jesse C. Lago and Neva C. Morris. He was raised and received his education in the Wichita area.
Kenny was united in marriage to Lorita Fooshee on November 22, 1951 in Wichita. The couple made their first home in the Wichita area where Kenny began an apprenticeship in plumbing. After his apprenticeship he began working as a plumber, first in Wichita, then Western Kansas, and later Missouri. In 1965 the family returned to the Wichita area, and in 1976 they moved to Winfield where Kenny bought Flower's Plumbing. He renamed the business Law and Sons' Inc. He continued running the business for over 24 years until retiring in 2000.
He was a member of the True Church of the First Born in Wichita, the Cherokee Car Club, and was a lifetime member of the Kiwanis, where he served as president. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and working on antique cars.

His daughters: Cheryl Wilson and husband, Frank of Maize; Deanna Catlett and husband, Mike of Augusta;
His sister: JoAnne Shartzer of Maize;
His step-sister: Vinita Hoffman of Hutchinson; and
His 21 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.
In addition to his parents Kenny was preceded in death by his aunt, Opal Short.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established in Kenny's name for Harry Hynes Hospice. Contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
