Kelly Janae Shaffer, 31, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Sunday morning, December 17, 2016 at the Berkeley House in Wichita, Kansas.
Born 15 weeks premature on November 29, 1985 in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of Rick Shaffer and Lynda Bailey Custer. She received her education at Cookson Hills Christian Ministries High school graduating in 2004. Kelly enjoyed music, animals, talking on her phone, being with and talking about her nieces and nephews and helping others.

Kelly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don Bailey, F.E. and Avanell Shaffer and uncles, Paul Bailey and Ed Shaffer.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Burden. Interment will follow at the Burden Cemetery. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service on Thursday evening from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors from 4 to 6 that evening.
Memorials have been established in Kelly's name for Cookson Hills Christian Ministries and the First Baptist Church of Burden. Contributions may be made by mailing a check made payable to the charity of your choosing, to Miles Funeral Service.
