Keith M. Watt, 38, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at his home.

Born February 8, 1984, in Winfield, Kansas, he was the son of Jim and Rose Marie (Schmidt) Watt. He was raised on the family farm north of Winfield and educated in Udall, graduating from Udall High School in 2002. Keith was a National Merit Scholarship Semi-finalist and received an Associate degree from Cowley County Community College in 2004. He then moved to Wichita to attend Wichita State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2006. Following school, he spent his career working for the United States Postal Service.

He was a member of Grandview United Methodist Church. Keith enjoyed reading, playing video games, watching Jeopardy, and taking walks on the family farm.

His family includes his parents Jim and Rose Marie Watt of Winfield; his uncle Ray Schmidt; his aunt Jeanette King; and six cousins.

In addition to his grandparents, Keith was preceded in death by his uncle Keith Watt.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 7, 2022, at Grandview United Methodist Church under the direction of Miles Funeral Service. Private family inurnment will take place at Highland Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in Keith's name for the Grandview United Methodist Church Land Development Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
