Karyn L. Bowlin, 46, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday morning, September 22, 2011 at her home.
Born November 07, 1964 in Stoughton, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of David and Carol (Auby) Farber. She was raised and received her early education in Wisconsin. The family moved to Kewanee, Illinois when Karyn was twelve. Karyn graduated from Kewanee High School in 1982. In 1983 the family moved to Arkansas City, Kansas where she went to work for Binney and Smith.
Karyn was united in marriage to Tony Miller on November 11, 1983, in Arkansas City. The couple made their home in Arkansas City where Karyn began working for Rubbermaid. To this union two sons were born. The couple later divorced.
In 1995 Karyn married Steve Bowlin. The couple made their home in Winfield. Karyn worked various jobs in the food service industry in Winfield. The couple later divorced, but remained close friends.
She enjoyed listening to music, especially the band Kiss, she enjoyed nature, and loved animals. She especially loved spending time with her sons and grandson.

Karyn was preceded in death by two uncles, Charles and Henry Auby.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorials have been established in Mrs. Bowlin's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
