JUSTIN GOBER "Papa J", 43, of Oxford, Kansas, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 30, 2014 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.

Born July 28, 1971 in Sedan, Kansas, he was the son of Susan Gober. He was raised and educated in Sedan and Independence, and graduated from Independence High School.

Justin was united in marriage to Susan Slothower on March 17, 2006 in Bartlesville, OK. The couple made their home in Oxford. Justin worked at S&Y Industries in Winfield in the Surface Mount Department.

He enjoyed playing video games with his grandchildren, was an excellent sketch artist, jokster and avid OU fan. He loved hanging out with friends in his man cave and especially loved being with his family.

His family includes:
His wife: Susan Gober of Oxford;
His daughters: Kyli Caudillo of Winfield; Kelli Caudillo of Wichita; Alexis Wilcox of Arkansas City; and Jordan Hernandez and husband, Nick of Overland Park;
His sisters: Michelle Gober of Chanute; and Brandy R. Carter-Conard of Caney; and
His grandchildren: Cody, Hailey, Gracie, D'Antae and Brooklyn.

Justin was preceded in death by his mother.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

A Memorial has been established in Justin's name to the 465 Foundation for the Justin H. Gober Memorial Scholarship. Contributions my be made through the funeral home.
