Julie E. Miller, 51, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Sunday evening, September 6, 2026, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital.

Born August 11, 1975, in Winfield, Kansas, she was the daughter of Kenny and Jeanne (Matthews) Miller. She was raised and educated in Cowley County until moving to El Dorado in 1981 and Wichita in 1999. Julie worked as a custodian at the Sunset Motel and later the El Dorado Middle School. She enjoyed traveling and especially loved her K9 companion, Leo.

She is survived by her father Kenny Miller of Wichita; her sister Wendy Miller of Wichita; her brothers, Ken Miller and wife, Jenni of Douglass; Tim Miller and wife, Crystal of Wichita; her nieces, Hannah and Brooke; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Julie was preceded in death by her mother.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 14, 2026, at Dexter Cemetery under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.

A memorial has been established in Julie’s name for the Kansas Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
