Julie A. Kohaus' Obituary
Julie A. Kohaus, 60, of Winfield, Kansas, became an angel on Saturday morning, July 13, 2013 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield.
Julie was born January 18, 1953. She lived at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center until July 16, 1997, then moved to Mosaic on July 17, 1997. During her time at Mosaic, Julie enjoyed attending camp at Camp Horizon in Arkansas City. While at camp she enjoyed taking walks and humming "Jesus Loves Me".
Surviving to honor Julie's memory:
Her guardian: Robert Snively;
Her closest mentors: Andrea; Lodema; Duane; Mary; and
Many other staff that loved her, including three of Julie's roommates, Linda, Marjorie, and Reta.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Inurnment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Winfield.
A memorial has been established in Julie's name for Mosaic. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
